My Background
My background includes both medical and mental health settings, including work as an oncology social worker at a cancer clinic, where I supported cancer patients and their families. I have been a mental health social worker at the VA helping Veterans in crisis. And, I have been a therapist providing telehealth therapy for the past 4 years now.
I am passionate about this field as I personally know how profound and transformative therapy can be. My mental health journey was so profound, in fact, that I changed my career to become a therapist.
I originally graduated from USC as a business major, but felt disconnected and unfulfilled in that path. Through my own work in therapy, I gained some more clarity and direction. I got my Masters of Social Work at the University of Georgia in 2021 and have since felt real meaning helping others.
On the path to healing, I believe the connection between you and your therapist is what really makes therapy work. You should feel like your therapist hears you and really gets you.

*50-55 minute appointment is $150/session without insurance. I offer sliding scale options, meaning I have some dedicated spots I can offer at a lower cost for those that need it. Please ask!
My Therapeutic Approach
I utilize acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) guided by psychodynamic and attachment theory. ACT is a third wave CBT model that has been shown through thousands of empirical studies to improve symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma. Through psychodynamic and attachment theory, we can explore how past experiences and early relationships shape present emotions and relationship patterns, helping you build greater understanding of yourself.
I work collaboratively with my clients to find out what kind of guidance and skills will help them achieve their goals.
