Making Sense of What Feels Like Too Much

About

Anxiety, Worry, and Overthinking...

Your mind is constantly “on,” jumping between what-ifs and worst-case scenarios. Worrying, analyzing, overthinking, stressing... it’s emotionally exhausting.

Maybe anxiety shows up as racing thoughts, a tight chest, trouble sleeping, or that constant feeling that something bad is going to happen. You keep trying to push through, to reason with yourself, to “just calm down,” but nothing has really worked long-term.

Over time, it has started to take over more and more of your life. It’s affected the way you show up at work, how present you are in moments that are supposed to feel good, and how connected you feel with the outside world and loved ones. Even when things look fine on the outside, you still feel tense, on edge, or disconnected inside.

But, this isn’t a sign that something’s wrong with you. It’s your body’s way of trying to protect you - it’s just gotten stuck in overdrive.

In therapy, we’ll slow things down together. We’ll explore what to do differently, uncover the triggers underneath the surface, and learn ways to better manage your thoughts and feelings.

Cancer and Grief...

Life is different now.

A cancer diagnosis can turn your world upside down. Whether you are facing cancer yourself or supporting someone you love, it can bring waves of uncertainty and fear.

In the beginning, everything revolves around treatment - the appointments, the scans, and the endless waiting. Survival becomes the focus. When it’s finally over, you’re left to process everything that's happened while trying to return to “normal.” But oftentimes, life doesn’t feel the same.

In therapy, we’ll create space to slow down and make sense of what you’ve experienced. Together, we’ll process the grief, uncertainty, and anxiety that can come from a cancer diagnosis. My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself and find meaning and balance in this new chapter of life.
